About the Position:

The BIM/VDC Technician will assist in the design of industrial piping and/or HVAC piping systems. He or she will develop 3D models and generate construction documents from these models. Building-related projects will include commercial buildings, industrial plants, hospitals, and educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Navisworks, Revit, Revitzo, and BIM Track.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review 3D models to generate construction documents.
• Have extensive knowledge of BIM.
• Be willing to travel to job sites and project meetings.
• Participate in the QA/QC process.
• Have a thorough understanding of HVAC and/or industrial piping systems.

Requirements:

• Experience in the construction process and production of drawings for coordination, fabrication, and installation of systems.
• Extensive experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Ability to adapt to VDC standards and processes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Drafting degree preferred, but not required dependent upon level of experience.
