About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to oversee contractor claims, establish merit and quantum, and conduct negotiations. This critical position supports contract administration and the implementation of change management procedures related to construction claims.

As a Change Manager, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including the Construction Manager, Engineering Manager, Project Controls Manager, Change Control Board, and Subject Matter Experts. You will ensure that all claims, changes, and contract modifications are managed efficiently and effectively, playing a key role in the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze changes, claims, time impact analyses, and other contract modifications.
  • Maintain the Change Log and records of contract modifications.
  • Attend fact-finding meetings and assist in scope/cost and schedule proposal analysis.
  • Monitor contract compliance and prepare monthly status reports and summaries.
  • Interface with Project Controls staff and related systems.
  • Support other contract management activities, including pay application processing and coordination with interfacing departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Approximately 20 years of experience in contract management and administration, or in the preparation/review of contract changes and claims for heavy construction, highway, or transit industry projects.
  • At least 8 years of experience representing owners in claims negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Extensive experience in managing claims for alternate delivery contracts such as Design-Build, CM/GC, and CMAR.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
